| dont get me wrong - this restaurant is a star. probably the best italian in beijing...not that it has a whole ton of competition for that title. certainly better than the italians in China World and Grand Hyatt. however, i give it two 4s because they mixed up our reservation at first and also because at rmb200 per entree, its hard to rate it a 5 for value. if youre on an expense account and dying for good italian, this is a good choice. the wine list is also excellent - particularly the italian selections. as for pasta, i highly rec the lobster tagliolini. |
