| Now I know its blasphemous to eat pizza in Beijing, but we all have our weak moments. And I had my weak moment this evening. So we hit the closest Mr Pizza at Wangjing and had ourselves a large Cheese Cap (1/2 Potato and 1/2 combo). Along with the drinks and a salad (engineered to multilayer as many veges as physics would allow) - and the total bill was Y160 for two - plus we took home 1/2 the pizza as leftovers. The service was very good and the pizza was quite good as well. I can't wait to go back and try to bulgogi pizza when my next craving for Western food hits. Mr. Pizza is a Korean owned chain with 5 stores in Beijing and it has more creative toppings than Pizza Hut but is a lot cheaper. They also deliver with mopeds. For their menu, see mrpizza.com.cn. |
